Swamiji had answered all the practical questions which we face during our daily life with practical solutions. Swamiji had taken spiritualism to a new height I would definitely recommend it to everyone. Thanks to swamaji, The book is awesome, and if you like to change your self then go and read, I fill very good within myself, people try to find happiness outside, but it's all about within yourself.
The book very very good for changing yourself. First of all the book starts with praise for Thomas Edison which is baseless. It's well known that he was insensitive and very cruel that he would electrocute elephants to defame Nicola Tesla and his AC current.
Plus he was a shrewd businessman and plagiarist proven to have stolen others inventions. Few minutes of research would reveal true identity of Edison from trusted sources, not fake ones! Secondly this book is littered with religious extracts and stories that we all heard in our lives. It's basically Bhagvad Gita wrapped in modern jargon. As an avid reader of books of all genres, I may write off this book as terrible waste of time!
I highly recommend "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill as the ultimate motivational book that I have read multiple times and implemented with huge success! The author forms a smooth continuation of the principles where it feels so natural that one requires the other. Further, there are a lot of anecdotes that clearly spell out the point the author wishes to make.
This aspect makes it accessible to everyone and I salute the author this. Also, the use of name 7 mindsets, reminds me of the great masterpiece 7 habits of highly effective people by Stephen Covey. Since that book was written a lot has changed in field of neurobiology and many concepts now have scientific backing that were mere postulates.
Mukundananda on top of all these connects it to the Vedic philosophy and provides a convincing case of what great a gift India has offered to world in the form of Vedas. This is one of the best self development book I have ever read. It really defines what success is. Success is to be good, to do good and to feel good. Each mindset is explained in details with solid examples. For example one mindset is you are responsible for everything happening in your life, so take charge of your thought, emtion and control life.
Another example is how to grow in difficulty times, it comes with a strong message to enhance our life. Best thing about the book is you will not get bore during reading. Amazing book See all reviews. Top reviews from other countries. Very good book to put life in perspective. Worth reading if you want to achieve more in life. Highly recommended. Report abuse. I loved this book. It is life changing, revolutionary book. I hope and pray to Almighty that more and more people would read and be benefited from this book.
The author has done an excellent job at providing simple, yet powerful techniques to manage our stubborn mind. All the 7 mindsets are explained in a very logical manner, with lots of examples.
The detail step by step process described in the book makes the techniques easy to implement. The quotations from the scriptures, their explanations and how they help in solving our current day problems are simply outstanding.
It is very thought provoking. I would highly recommend this book to all, young and old. It is never too early or too late to develop a healthy mindset. I recently received my Kindle edition of this book and have finished reading it. As my subject title says, it is the best book I have read on personal development, mind management, and inner growth.
Swami Mukundananda has defined success in the deepest and most meaningful way. He has intricately blended the abstract knowledge of the Vedic scriptures with practical application into the seven mindsets he describes in the book.
Swamiji beautifully explains how to best utilize our inner resources and fundamentally change our thinking patterns and attitudes to form mindsets that are uplifting and lead to an auspicious life. Well, this book will teach you how! Swamiji details how to use our God-given freedom to choose positive thoughts irrespective of circumstances!
Like this, he has six more very powerful mindsets that are absolutely life-transforming! I would recommend this book to everyone, of all ages and all walks of life!

He was not getting enough oxygen. He found the bullet hole in his shirt and, biting on the pain, tore it open to reveal the hole in his chest. She was pleased there was a fire barrier between them and counted herself lucky. A warm grip took her arm and hauled her into an alley. If she fought, she could tear Edwin to pieces. At the last possible moment he had come for her. And in a way she could not have dreamed of.

I looked around upon the world, and saw that it was shadowed by sorrow and scorched by the fierce fires of suffering. And I looked for the cause. I looked around, but could not find it; I looked in books, but could not find it; I looked within, and found there both the cause and the self-made nature of that cause.
